Did you know you can link to a specific part of a YouTube video? For example, let’s say I am writing about my friend Dr.Kohn’s video series on Traumatic Brain Injury. The video series consists of 8 videos and I want to point out to you the part where Dr. Kohn discusses the visual area of the brain. So I go to the video and locate the time where he says what I am referring to, which in this case is 2:43. Knowing that, I add the following code to the end of the url of that video “#t=2m43s” so when you click on the link where Dr.Kohn is referring to attention and says, “So attention emerges as a function…” you get the exact spot in the video to play.
You can even do it for an embedded video such as the one below. And, even though the video starts where we cued it to, we can still review any other part of the video we choose.
